The Challenge
With the rise of alternative mini-golfing franchises across the UK, Golf Fang needed to show off their latest location to an audience that needed to hear about their opening and the unique Golf Fang experience - separating Golf Fang from the rest and showing how their unique experience makes them the superior choice. They needed to do this while driving traffic to their website and their Cardiff location.
The mission? Show locals the joys of this new location, and share the unique selling points of Golf Fang locations across the U.K.
The Solution
To get people through the doors and make the new location a hive of excitement, we activated a curated group of local comedy and lifestyle creators to post directly to their TikTok audiences.
Each creator demonstrated their own journeys to the new location and the fun they had while there. They honed in on the unique courses, highlighted their favourite pop culture references, and showed off some of Golf Fang's signature cocktails that they enjoyed around the holes.
A few creators showed how Golf Fang is all about fun, dressing up as characters like Mario and Marge Simpson - clearly demonstrating how the venue is perfect for parties and the Hen/Stag Do crowd. Focussing on these style of comedy creators felt like the natural way to steer this campaign - showing their enjoyment and interactions with the outrageous courses allowed the audience to see themselves in the content.
It was the comedy style and organically relatable content that became the main driver of the audience's enjoyment of the videos - clearly resonating with their audiences as the numbers continued to rise very quickly and the click targets were met in record time.
